Hey! Just to be clear, since I couldn't find a precise answer in the rulebook. Spending 1 Hour allows you to move 1 space, right? 2 Hours for 2 spaces, etc. Again, I'm pretty sure it works this way, but a clarification is never bad (:

It tells you on the Basic Actions card: "Effort: Lose X Hours to move X spaces. (Once per turn)"
