The script doesn't mention needing to spend intent, but the power card does. Can we use equipment just by spending the power needed, or do we have to spend the intent as well?

Thanks for the clarification. After spending a little time looking at it, it became clear that you had to spend intent as well, just to power was too easy. SO I managed to figure it out. That was a really, really fun dream!
To use Equipment, you must spend both Intent and Power.
