Do masks mean more than just their ability? Like there could be events that refer to having a certain mask in a story? Please no concrete spoilers.

Without any spoilers:
If the game doesn't explicitly ask you for a Mask name, only the Mask ability has any meaning. But you never know if any special rules will ask you for something like that. And if not in the core box, maybe in upcoming campaigns? But – no one knows.
