If I'm in the arena or just repetitively running around the map. Does the janitor just instantly resolve victory? I don't see anywhere where it says dirt is removed.

Page 9 of the rulebook:
When the Nightmare Janitor slumber ends, you're supposed to discard the Nightmare Janitor tile, his token/mini, and all of his dirt markers.
