the horizon map has a nice infinite loop you can hit just keep hitting the sanctuary over and over, effectively unsealing all my cards, unflipping all my progress cards, and restoring all my items. Nice. But, I can also continually reshuffle my influence deck, without penalty. And each time I do so I can add a charge to my shotgun, steam bomb, and gain a gem. The cards have no limit so I simply gained markers on those until I ran out components (which the rulebook says is the limit).
My questions are: is this as intended? And, since I’ve now used all the markers in the game, does this mean I would ignore any other event in the game they calls for the use of generic markers? The rulebook would seem to indicate yes, but that seems a bit worry some. Thanks!
First of all I want to say that I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed that bug(imo).
i personally think there is a typo on this card, and “seal one card” is supposed to be between sanctuary and train locations, instead of the upper loop.
So basically there is at least some punishment for a good reward(unflipping cards, getting hours, etc.) it still doesn’t solve issues with tokens that you can add to cards, but at least this tile won’t feel so broken as of right now.
Would love a clarification on this, although it seems legit seeing as Horizon is hard to get to... but it's weird that when you do a dream in Horizon you will always be at "full health", only to seal 1 card before the dream gate... which you will then unseal as part of the dream's setup. Is this really intentional?
We ended up doing the same and traveled to Horizon almost after each dream. We were also getting 4 keys using the related item over and over again. Then we used Balloon to move to the location form which you can "teleport" anywhere except the one district. Because of that we've rarely done any Slumber.
